STOCKS | InnoLight Says 1.6T Demand Remains Strong, With Structural Shifts

InnoLight responded to market concerns about a potential delay in demand for 1.6T products.

According to Jin10, the company said on July 12 that overall industry demand for 1.6T in 2027 remained strong and was unchanged from its previously expected volume range, while the number of customers had increased.

The company added that industry demand growth for 800G in 2027 was more significant than previously expected. From the perspective of overall customer demand, it said it had not seen any decline in demand.

InnoLight said the expected volume of 1.6T demand next year was broadly consistent with earlier expectations, with the main change reflected in the demand mix. It noted that some customers had lowered their demand, while new cloud vendors and AI large-model customers had raised their 1.6T demand. Overall, the company said 1.6T demand had not fallen, but had shown a structural adjustment.
