Samsung Electronics has set a 2029 target to begin production at the first wafer fabrication plant in the Yongin National Industrial Complex, earlier than market expectations of 2030 to 2031, according to Ming Pao.
The report said the adjustment aligns with the South Korean government’s policy direction to accelerate development of the Yongin National Industrial Complex.
