The crypto derivatives market recorded $77.0 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours, with short positions accounting for a larger share than longs, according to Coinglass data. According to ChainCatcher, long liquidations totaled $30.2 million, while short liquidations reached $46.8 million.
Bitcoin liquidations included $5.59 million in long positions and $5.55 million in short positions. Ethereum liquidations totaled $4.41 million on the long side and $21.0 million on the short side.
Coinglass data also showed 45,677 traders were liquidated globally during the period. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Hyperliquid in the ETH-USD market, valued at $2.49 million.
