Eni SpA Chief Executive Officer Claudio Descalzi said the global energy situation could deteriorate further in the short term as oil inventories decline and competition for supplies intensifies, according to Bloomberg.
Descalzi made the comments in an interview with Italian daily Il Sole 24 Ore.
