6月12日消息，比特币挖矿和基础设施公司Riot Platforms批评Bitfarms采用对股东不友好的”毒丸“计划，该计划阻止任何股东在未经批准的情况下收购Bitfarms 15%或以上的普通股。Riot称，该计划低于20%的惯例门槛，反映出公司治理不善。Riot敦促Bitfarms董事长促成主席兼临时首席执行官Nicolas Bonta必须辞职以解决公司治理问题。
