Eigen Labs Acquires Liquidity Re-pledge Network Rio Network

Eigen Labs announced the acquisition of the Liquidity Restaking Network Rio Network for an undisclosed amount. Eigen Labs said that Eigen Labs did not build the Liquid Restaking Token (LRT), the Rio Network's code and intellectual property will be acquired by the Eigen Foundation and will be open-sourced. The Rio team will join Eigen Labs and will focus on enhancing the EigenLayer ecosystem with the rest of the Eigen Labs team.
