Hyundai Motor has completed a $20,000 USDT stablecoin pilot transfer from its U.S. entity to its Mexico entity using the Avalanche blockchain, reducing settlement time to about seven minutes.
According to NS3.AI, the transfer shortened processing from several hours via traditional banking rails.
Hyundai said it plans to expand the mechanism to more countries and local currencies. The company also plans to launch a second pilot for its European subsidiaries later this month in collaboration with Circle and Visa.
