SK Hynix’s American depositary receipts (ADRs) began trading on Nasdaq on Friday after being priced at $149 per ADR on Thursday, raising about $26.5 billion, according to Ming Pao.
The ADRs opened at $170 on Friday, up 14% from the offering price. Compared with SK Hynix’s Korea-listed shares, which closed at 2.18 million won on Friday (about $1,450 per ADR, with each ADR representing 0.1 ordinary share), the ADRs traded at a 17% premium.
