Xiaomi Auto Plans Two Range-Extended Models for Pengcheng Series

Xiaomi Auto said on July 10 that its Pengcheng series is currently planned to launch two models—a five-seat version and a seven-seat version—both using range-extended powertrains, according to Jiemian News. The company said it chose range-extender technology when the Pengcheng series was formally approved as a project in early 2023 and has since carried out R&D and optimizations. Under the CLTC test cycle, the Pengcheng series is designed to deliver more than 500 km of pure-electric driving range.
