Gnosis DAO Launches Proposal to Allocate 8,000 GNOs to USDC Incentive Program

On June 12, the Gnosis DAO opened a vote on a proposal to "allocate 8,000 GNOs to fund the USDC incentive program". The proposal states that the USDC tokens on the Gnosis chain (which can currently be bridged from Ethereum via the Gnosis Bridge) do not meet the Bridge token standards established by Circle in November 2023. Circle takes over the tokens and converts them to native USDC on the Gnosis Chain, proposing to create an incentive program of 8,000 GNOs. The program will continue to run until USDC is issued natively on Gnosis.
