The U.S. Department of Justice has charged Rossen G. Iossifov over the alleged unauthorized removal of about $290,000 in cryptocurrency that had been seized and forfeited to the U.S. government.
According to NS3.AI, Iossifov appeared in federal court in the Eastern District of Kentucky earlier this week.
Prosecutors also said Iossifov’s earlier online auction fraud case laundered nearly $5 million in cryptocurrency.
