U.S. stocks rebounded on Thursday, with Micron Technology (MU) helping lift chip shares and easing worries tied to rising tensions in the Middle East, according to Ming Pao.
Hong Kong Aoguo Institute of Economics President Wang Bi said he remained very calm about recent U.S. stock-market volatility, adding that investors should separate “relevant and irrelevant matters.” He said he personally dislikes gambling-style short-term speculation and prefers assets with low valuations, solid underlying businesses and ample cash.
