Japan-based Bitcoin treasury company Metaplanet has reached an agreement with Progmat to conduct research in digital credit using Bitcoin, stablecoins, and tokenized securities. According to Foresight News, the research will combine Metaplanet’s Bitcoin-centered financial strategy with JPYC’s stablecoin settlement and distribution functions.
The collaboration will also incorporate Progmat’s infrastructure for representing rights in security tokens and managing token holders, as well as Metaplanet Securities’ expertise in product structuring and distribution.
The parties plan to explore how these components could be used to develop a more efficient and transparent credit market for issuers and investors.
