A Polymarket bettor described as “smart money” bought $90,000 worth of shares backing Conor McGregor to defeat Max Holloway in a UFC middleweight main event, at an average purchase price of $0.32 per share.

According to Odaily, the address 0x2c335066fe58fe9237c3d3dc7b275c2a034a0563 has recorded more than $5.81 million in profits and made the McGregor purchase in the related prediction market event.

Odaily reported that McGregor is returning to competition after being away from MMA for about five years and currently holds a record of 22 wins and six losses. The market has expressed concerns about his condition and competitive rhythm.

Holloway enters the bout with a record of 27 wins and nine losses, and Odaily said he has maintained a relatively high fight frequency recently and has moved up to the 170-pound division.

The two previously fought in 2013, when Holloway lost by decision, Odaily said. In the rematch, Odaily described McGregor’s advantages as power and reach, while Holloway has been favored by the market for high-volume striking and durability.
