HSBC has completed its first issuance of a digitally native structured product in Hong Kong using USD-denominated notes that were issued directly on a blockchain.
According to NS3.AI, the notes were created on-chain at issuance rather than being digitized after they were issued.
Marketnode served as the tokenization agent and digital paying agent for the transaction.
HSBC did not disclose the issuance size, reference asset, tenor, investors, or the blockchain used.
