LME Metals Close Higher; Copper Settles at $13,490 a Ton

London Metal Exchange (LME) metals ended broadly higher on July 9, 2026, with three-month copper up $324 at $13,490 per metric ton, according to Jiemian News. Aluminum rose $68 to $3,200 a ton, zinc gained $108 to $3,626, lead was flat at $1,892, nickel added $249 to $16,587, and tin climbed $1,552 to $53,647.
