Grayscale chief financial officer Edward McGee has stepped down after seven years, effective July 2, and the firm named Kathryn Masci and Daniel Plourde as interim co-chief financial officers. According to CoinDesk, McGee resigned for personal reasons and not due to any disagreement with the company. Masci will also serve as principal financial and accounting officer and join the board of managers. The exit follows managing director and head of distribution and partnerships John Hoffman leaving for Ondo Finance, as Grayscale has paused plans for a U.S. IPO amid market conditions.
