According to CNBC, Wells Fargo said Sunrun’s plan to connect AI computing nodes to its network of home solar panels and battery units could materially expand the company’s opportunity and lift the stock. Analyst Praneeth Satish reiterated an overweight rating and set a $22 price target, implying 83% upside from Wednesday’s close, and said the distributed nodes would be designed for AI inference workloads. Satish estimated AI compute revenue could exceed $4 per kilowatt-hour versus other battery uses that are well below $1, while Sunrun said household compensation details will be provided before customers enroll and will be subject to legal terms; Wells Fargo estimated payments could be around $1,000 a year.
