Elon Musk said he had previously underestimated Anthropic and described it as a leading company in the AI industry.
According to Jin10, Musk wrote on social media that he had “clearly misjudged Anthropic,” saying no company had released models as strong as its Mythos and Fable, and that he expected Anthropic to launch Mythos 2 soon.
Musk added that even though Anthropic is a competitor, he would not impose restrictions that would seriously harm its development, saying that was not his style.
He also cited past examples, saying Tesla had open-sourced patents and opened its Supercharger network to competitors. Musk said that when SpaceX launched a competitor’s satellite system, it did not raise prices or set unfair terms.
