Crypto projects lost about $972 million across 207 hack incidents in the first half of 2026, according to Immunefi. According to NS3.AI, Immunefi said the number of incidents was the highest ever recorded.
Despite the record incident count, Immunefi said total losses remained below $1 billion. The firm also said the H1 2026 losses were less than half of the losses recorded in H1 2025.
