Li Auto CEO Li Xiang said on July 9 that the company will officially unveil the Li i9 in September, adding that the flagship SUV will carry a special “Home” badge on the rear, according to Jiemian News. Li said Li Auto will also introduce an i9 “Home” version, which would be the brand’s second “Home” model after the MEGA.
Li said the Li i9 will be 5,225 mm long with a 3,168 mm wheelbase. Based on official images shared by Li, the i9 continues the i-series minimalist design and is expected to feature four LiDAR sensors and new semi-hidden door handles.
Jiemian News reported that Li Auto’s i-series uses an 800V pure-electric platform. The Li i6, positioned as a mid-to-large five-seat electric SUV, has a guide price range of RMB 249,800 to RMB 269,800; the company previously announced on June 20 that the 150,000th mass-produced Li i6 had rolled off the line. The Li i8, a mid-to-large six-seat electric SUV, starts at RMB 339,800.
Li also announced that a next-generation Li L6 will hold a launch event on July 16. The current Li L6 launched with a guide price range of RMB 249,800 to RMB 279,800, and cumulative deliveries had exceeded 290,000 units as of July 2025, the report said.
Li Auto said it delivered 30,895 vehicles in June, and its cumulative deliveries reached 1,733,687 units as of June 30, 2026. In its first-quarter earnings report, the company said it delivered 95,142 vehicles, posted total revenue of RMB 22.98 billion, recorded a net loss attributable to shareholders of RMB 2.3 billion, and reported R&D expenses of RMB 2.72 billion; it plans full-year R&D spending of RMB 12.0 billion. As of the end of March, Li Auto said cash and short-term investments totaled RMB 94.3 billion.
As of the July 9 close in Hong Kong, Li Auto shares were at HK$46.76, down 3.63% on the day, with a market capitalization of HK$95.872 billion, Jiemian News reported.
