XPeng Launches Internal Employee Testing for Robotaxi Business

XPeng has held its first all-hands meeting for its Robotaxi business and announced the formal start of internal employee testing, according to 36Kr. Chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng said Robotaxi is a key step for the company as it moves from new energy vehicles toward what he described as a "robot car" direction, adding that XPeng plans to focus on its vehicle platform, autonomous driving software and AI capabilities to build a Robotaxi hardware-and-software services offering for global partners.
