German lawmakers approved more than a dozen military procurement deals worth over €12 billion ($13.7 billion), including a laser weapon contract with defense contractor Rheinmetall AG, according to Bloomberg.
The approvals also included a warship order for domestic rival TKMS AG & Co. KGaA.
