Base has activated the B20 token standard on its mainnet early today. According to Foresight News, B20 is a new native token standard introduced as part of Base’s Beryl upgrade.
The report said B20 is compatible with ERC-20 and is intended for use cases including stablecoins, real-world assets (RWA), and equity-like assets.
