China released the 15th Five-Year Plan for the development of human resources and social security, outlining employment and vocational training goals for the period.
According to Jin10, the plan said that during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the number of newly added urban jobs would remain at a relatively large scale. It set targets of 25 million reemployed urban unemployed people and 6.5 million employed people facing job difficulties.
The plan also said China would keep the surveyed urban unemployment rate within 5.5%.
In addition, it called for more than 50 million subsidized vocational skills training participations, including 17.5 million participations by migrant workers.
