U.S. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer criticized U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday over his comments at a NATO summit.
According to Odaily, Schumer said Trump was incoherent and mentally confused at the summit and that his remarks embarrassed the United States on the world stage.
Schumer also accused Trump of acting as a mouthpiece for Russian President Vladimir Putin, undermining relationships with allies, and advocating for war. He said this reflected what he described as Trump’s vision for the country.
Schumer added that Americans would have an opportunity in November this year to choose a different path.
