DeFi Development Corp. (DFDV), a Nasdaq-listed Solana treasury company, said it will no longer oversee the day-to-day operations and management of the DONT meme coin ecosystem, transferring ecosystem leadership to an independent team led by Daniel Reis-Faria.
According to Odaily, the new team will focus on developing the DONT ecosystem, building the community, expanding partnerships, and improving liquidity.
DFDV added that it will continue to hold its DONT treasury allocation. The company said its current holdings account for about 31.6% of DONT’s total supply and that it plans to hold the position long term in line with the project’s initial commitments.
