Intel has confirmed price increases for some consumer and server CPUs, citing rising supply chain costs and demand exceeding supply.
According to Odaily, consumer processor prices have risen by $30 to $50, while data center products have increased by as much as several hundred to more than $1,000.
Investment bank Wedbush said Intel still has room to raise prices without affecting market demand. Wedbush analyst Matt Bryson wrote in a client note that, given ongoing shortages in server CPU supply, Intel can continue to increase prices without impacting demand.
