Algebris Investment said markets could face higher volatility for the rest of 2026 as oil prices rise and supply declines.

According to Jin10, Algebris Investment analyst Gabriele Foa wrote in a report that renewed attacks between the United States and Iran, along with a statement by U.S. President Donald Trump that an Iran ceasefire agreement had ended, raised fresh concerns about potential oil supply shocks.

Foa said rising oil prices, reduced global oil supply, and renewed instability in interest rates could contribute to increased market volatility.
