Jordan Henderson has been ruled out for the rest of the World Cup after he broke his left forearm during celebrations following England’s 3-2 win over Mexico at Estadio Azteca, according to Yahoo Sports. Henderson, an unused substitute, slipped while trying to jump an advertising board after the match and was given oxygen before being stretchered away; his father, Brian Henderson, said the midfielder “completely smashed” his forearm and will have a cast after surgery, but will remain with the England squad until the tournament ends.
