The Hyperliquid team is currently earning about $1 million per day in staking interest income from its hyperliquid:native staking, according to monitoring data.
According to Foresight News, the team received an allocation of 238 million HYPE tokens, and all of those tokens are currently staked.
The monitoring data said that over the 1.5 years since HYPE was listed, the team has accumulated 8.08 million HYPE tokens in staking interest. It added that the team has sold about 4.93 million HYPE from that staking interest.
As a result, the monitoring data indicated the team’s address now holds 241 million HYPE tokens, which is more than the initial allocation.
