According to CNBC, Singapore state investor Temasek Holdings said its net portfolio value rose to a record 518 billion Singapore dollars ($401 billion) for the year ended March 31, and it posted a 10.5% total shareholder return, citing strong performance in its Singapore holdings and gains from divestments. Temasek said returns were reduced by about 2% due to the Iran war that broke out on Feb. 28 and by about 2 percentage points due to a stronger Singapore dollar; it also reported SG$31 billion of divestments, including a reported S$8.18 billion stake sale in Schneider Electric India in June 2025. Temasek said its China exposure fell to 17% in 2026 from 29% in 2020, while adding that its absolute exposure to China increased by SG$10 billion over the past year; five-year total shareholder returns were 4.6% and 10-year returns were 7.1% in Singapore dollar terms. Temasek said it plans to raise AI-related exposure to 15% by 2031 from 6% currently, increase private credit to 5% by 2031 from 2%, and lift “core-plus” infrastructure to 5% over the next five years.
