DAXA said on July 8 that phishing websites are posing as domestic won-based cryptocurrency exchanges and are being promoted through social media advertisements.
According to NS3.AI, DAXA warned users that these fraudulent sites may attempt to mislead customers by imitating legitimate exchange services.
DAXA added that domestic won-based exchanges do not provide separate PC-installable trading software, and cautioned that any site advertising such software may be part of a scam.
