Assets under management of 28 innovative-drug themed funds in China exceeded 180 billion yuan as of July 7, 2026, up by more than 30 billion yuan so far this year, according to Jiemian News. Analysts cited by Securities Daily said valuations for A-share innovative-drug stocks have been in a relatively reasonable range this year, boosting investor recognition of the sector’s long-term value and driving demand for innovative-drug ETFs with different index coverage.
