BIG3 NFT buyers have filed a class action lawsuit against Ice Cube’s 3-on-3 basketball league, alleging the league failed to deliver promised ownership-related benefits tied to the NFTs.
According to NS3.AI, purchasers paid as much as $25,000 per NFT and say they were led to expect perks that included participation in team-sale opportunities.
The plaintiffs are seeking damages and restitution. The report also notes that BIG3 is pursuing a SPAC transaction valued around $290 million.
