Jenni Yoon Jeong Lee pleaded guilty to wire fraud and bank fraud for her role in a scheme that defrauded at least 28 people of more than $3 million.
According to NS3.AI, the U.S. Department of Justice said Lee posed as an investment advisor and targeted members of the Korean community, including many elderly victims.
Sentencing is scheduled for September 18th.
