Iranian President Pezeshkian traveled from Tehran to Najaf, Iraq, to attend the funeral ceremony for Iran's late supreme leader Khamenei, which was set to be held in Iraq on July 8. According to Jin10, Iran's Mehr News Agency reported that Pezeshkian departed the Iranian capital on July 7 for the trip. The report also said Pezeshkian was expected to hold talks with Iraqi Prime Minister Zaidi.
