Analysts see Oracle, Nvidia among S&P 500 stocks with 40%+ upside as second half begins

According to CNBC, U.S. stocks posted a strong first half, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 up 10% for the year and the Nasdaq up 15%, while the Nasdaq-100 gained 19% in the first half of 2026. CNBC Pro said it screened FactSet data for S&P 500 stocks with buy ratings from at least 60% of analysts and average price targets implying 40% or more upside, highlighting Oracle (analysts see nearly 80% upside; shares down 26% in 2026), Intuit (76% upside; down 57%), CoStar Group (62% upside; down 55%), Nvidia (60% upside; up 3% in 2026; 83% buy-rated), and Micron Technology (57% upside; up more than 200% in 2026; 77% buy-rated).
