Fiserv (FISV) rose after the Wall Street Journal reported big banks including JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and PNC Financial Services Group held preliminary talks about acquiring a network owned by the fintech firm, according to Bloomberg.

Crinetics Pharmaceuticals (CRNC) jumped after Vertex Pharmaceuticals agreed to buy Crinetics for $10 billion in cash to expand into endocrinology.

SpaceX (SPCX) fell even as at least six brokers, including Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, initiated coverage with buy-equivalent ratings. SpaceX’s addition to the Nasdaq 100 is expected to support the stock given the number of funds that track the index.
