China's SAMR Launches 16 Special Actions to Curb 'Involution-Style' Competition

China's State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) has stepped up efforts this year to address what it called "involution-style" competition, rolling out 16 special actions focused on tougher enforcement, deeper platform governance, and stronger upstream compliance, according to 36Kr. The regulator said the campaign has set 39 expected outcomes and has made positive progress so far.
