Britain would need £100 billion ($134 billion) a year to put public debt on a stable path, the government’s fiscal watchdog said, according to Bloomberg.
The watchdog said the scale of the challenge would confront Andy Burnham if he wants to put the UK’s public finances on a sustainable footing.
