Digital Chamber has filed an amicus brief in a New York lost-property case involving a claim of ownership over 39,069 dormant Bitcoin addresses.
According to NS3.AI, the addresses are estimated to hold about 3.7 million BTC, and the list includes some addresses said to be associated with Satoshi Nakamoto, based on comments from Sani, founder of Timechain Index.
The report noted that it remains unclear how the plaintiffs could obtain control of the assets without access to the private keys.
