The Euro Stoxx 50 opened down 18.06 points, or 0.28%, at 6,379.95.
Spain's IBEX 35 opened up 25.79 points, or 0.13%, at 19,709.59.
Italy's FTSE MIB opened up 38.36 points, or 0.07%, at 52,997.50.
