England could have Reece James available for their World Cup quarter-final against Norway on Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium in Florida, after the right-back missed three matches with a hamstring injury, according to Yahoo Sports. James was hurt in a 0-0 draw with Ghana and sat out games against Panama, DR Congo and Mexico, while England will also be without Jarell Quansah after his red card in Sunday’s 3-2 win over Mexico.

England reached the last eight after beating Mexico at Estadio Azteca, with Jude Bellingham scoring twice and Harry Kane converting a penalty; Raul Jimenez scored Mexico’s penalty. Thomas Tuchel can also turn to Ezri Konsa or Djed Spence, and England next face Norway, who beat Brazil in the round of 16.
