The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on July 6 appointed Paul Knight as the agency’s chief operating officer, according to Jiemian News. Knight will oversee the SEC’s operations and administrative functions, including human resources, financial management, procurement, the EDGAR program, and the offices of the chief data officer and chief risk officer.
