The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has expanded its partnership with Stellar to make blockchain-based payments a standard method for distributing global relief aid.
According to NS3.AI, UNDP has already conducted pilot programs using this approach in Haiti, Syria, Kenya, Guatemala, and the Gambia.
The expanded collaboration aims to build on these pilots as UNDP works to scale blockchain payments for aid delivery.
