Tether is preparing to issue USDT natively on Bitcoin using RGB protocol v0.11.1, with UTEXO leading the commercial rollout. According to NS3.AI, the launch is expected within weeks and could happen this July.
The report said compatible wallets are expected to support native Bitcoin addresses and transfers over the Lightning network.
