On June 11, DeFi Technologies has deployed an independent validator node on Core as part of its DeFi Infrastructure business line, an initiative that is part of DeFi Technologies' collaboration with the Core Foundation following previous announcements to develop innovative Bitcoin ETPs, including Valour's revenue-based BTC ETP and the new Core ETP.
It is reported that DeFi Technologies will pledge 1,498 BTC through its subsidiary ValourInc., participate in the non-custodial Bitcoin staking and receive rewards from Core's consensus mechanism.
