CertiK reported 344 security incidents in the Web3 ecosystem and about $1.32 billion in losses in the first half of 2026. According to NS3.AI, CertiK said losses fell 46.8% year-on-year, but rose about 28% after excluding Bybit's $1.45 billion incident.
CertiK added that wallet theft accounted for about $450 million in losses during the period.
