Anthropic signs 20-year lease for TeraWulf Kentucky data center; deal seen generating about $19 billion

According to CNBC, Anthropic on Monday signed a 20-year lease to use a TeraWulf data center in Kentucky, with the site expected to have about 400 megawatts of capacity and first power delivery slated for the second half of 2027. CNBC reported the lease is initially expected to generate around $19 billion in revenue; TeraWulf, a crypto mining company that has pivoted to AI data center infrastructure, is up more than 80% this year.
